Executive Leadership Team

Patrick Zammit has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TD SYNNEX and as a member of our Board since September 2024. In his CEO role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company and oversees all aspects of its extensive global operations. Mr. Zammit served as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) from January 2024 until he became CEO in September 2024. Previously, as COO, he coordinated the company’s business strategy to drive profitable growth across all technologies, geographies, and vendors, and to accelerate the adoption of new, high-growth technologies around the globe. Prior to that role, he served as the company’s President, Europe and APJ, since the company’s merger with Tech Data Corporation, where he had been President, Europe following Tech Data’s acquisition of Avnet Inc.’s Technology Solutions business in February 2017. Mr. Zammit was employed for more than twenty years at Avnet. He served in various management roles at Avnet, starting in 1993. During his tenure at Avnet, he served as Global President of the Avnet Technology Solutions division, serving on its executive board, and earlier as President, EMEA Electronic Marketing, and European CFO, among other roles. Before joining Avnet, he was a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Zammit is a well-recognized leader in the technology business partner ecosystem, being named one of CRN’s top 25 Most Influential Executives for 2024 and a Channel Futures Distribution Channel Leader of the Year for 2023. He holds the French equivalent of a master’s degree in business administration from ESLSCA Business School and is fluent in English, French, and German.

Alim Dhanji is chief human resources officer of TD SYNNEX, leading the strategic direction and operations of global human resources, including talent management, co-worker experience, DE&I, compensation and benefits, regional and corporate strategic HR business partners across the 100+ countries the company serves. In addition, he sits on a variety of company committees, including Global Ethics and Compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Global Crisis Management, and Investment. Prior to joining TD SYNNEX in 2024, Dhanji was Chief People Officer and EVP for the Equinox Group and previously served as President, adidas Canada. He brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in HR, M&A, Sales and Operations across multiple industries. Dhanji holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. His advocacy and commitment to building inclusive cultures has been recognized by Yahoo Finance and Financial Times as among the Top 10 LGBTQ+ Leaders in the World in 2021. He has also served on numerous boards and advisory councils, including committee chair roles for human resources and compensation. Dhanji also is currently an advisor to Project Healthy Minds in support of improving access to mental health services.

Sergio Farache is Executive Vice President, Strategy and Global Technology Business for TD SYNNEX. Mr Farache previously served as Tech Data Executive Vice President, Strategy, and NextGen (Cloud, Security, Data & IoT). In that role, he provided dedicated global leadership for the company's overall strategy, Innovation, and Tech Data's most strategic next-generation technology business. Earlier in his career at Tech Data, Sergio was the SVP, Strategy, and Global Cloud Solutions. Sergio is an entrepreneur who created, grew, and sold two companies before joining the corporate world and a Systems Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the global technology sector, with expertise in several technology fields, services, sales, marketing, and management disciplines.

Peter Larocque serves as president, North America for TD SYNNEX, a leading distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem.

Larocque has been with the company for 40 years. He has served in his current capacity since November 2013 and oversees the company’s North American business.

In 2011, Larocque founded SYNNEX Share the Magic, an annual fundraising initiative that raises money to benefit South Carolina children and their families, making it one of the largest charity events in the state. Since its inception, TD SYNNEX Share the Magic has raised more than $22 million. Today, TD SYNNEX Share the Magic has grown to include seven chapters across North America. The funds distributed have given these charities the ability to serve more children and families in ways they would not have been able to before.

Simon Leung is Chief Business officer for TD SYNNEX. In this role, Simon leads global M&A, ERM and business continuity, corporate communications, ESG and CSR initiatives, facilities, and non-production procurement. Previously, Simon served SYNNEX as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2001 to 2021. Prior to SYNNEX, Simon was an attorney at the law firm of Paul Hastings LLP and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Jaideep Malhotra serves as the President of TD SYNNEX in the Asia Pacific & Japan region. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations for the region, which include TD SYNNEX in Japan, Tech Data in Asia Pacific, and Tec D in Malaysia.

He joined Tech Data in February 2017 as Global President, Global Computing Components (GCC) following Tech Data’s acquisition of Avnet’s Technology Solutions business. In January 2019 Jaideep was appointed President of Tech Data Asia Pacific, concurrently serving as Global President of Tech Data GCC from 2019-2021.

Jaideep has been instrumental in the expansion of Tech Data’s footprint and offerings in Asia Pacific through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions. In 2020, just after Tech Data became a portfolio company of leading Private Equity Firm Apollo Global Management, Jaideep successfully led the acquisition and integration of Innovix Distribution, creating an end-to-end value added distribution footprint and offerings for Tech Data in the region. Under his leadership, Tech Data has invested to build its capabilities in the areas of high growth technologies like Cloud, Cybersecurity and Data, to enable and empower its partners and ecosystem to thrive by unlocking new growth opportunities. A firm believer of Centers of Excellence and Digital Transformation, Jaideep is passionate about creating capabilities and systems that prepares coworkers to serve the changing needs of the IT ecosystems.

Before joining Tech Data, Jaideep spent over 18 years at Avnet, a global distributor of semiconductor components and technology solutions. Jaideep was instrumental in strategic reorganisation, turnaround, new growth, and globalisation of Avnet’s computing components business, transforming it into a specialised Business Unit delivering higher value to partners and OEM customers. Some of his other achievements include Avnet Technology Solutions’ successful entry into India through strategic acquisition of an IT Value Added Systems Integrator in 2008, the expansion of its Value-Added Distribution and Solutions business from 2008-2013, establishing Avnet Technology Solutions as a leading value-added distributor in India.

Throughout his career, Jaideep has been recognized for his leadership, growth of people, and global strategy execution, including being awarded the prestigious Avnet CEO & Chairman Awards for Excellence.

He has over 30 years’ experience in the technology distribution business and has lived and worked in India, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Jaideep holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Bangalore University, India and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Illinois and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

He currently resides in Singapore, driving Tech Data's Growth and Innovation in the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Miriam became President Europe at TD SYNNEX – a leading distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem – in April 2024, following a two-year tenure as CEO, Europe, at NTT Ltd, a leading systems integrator and managed services provider. Prior to this Miriam served for more than 25 years in senior leadership roles at Tech Data, now TD SYNNEX. She holds a wealth of experience in the IT ecosystem, with a track record for driving transformation, delivering to business targets, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Dennis Polk is a member of our Board and Hyve Solutions executive for TD SYNNEX. Dennis served as the company’s Executive Chair of the Board from September 2021 to August 2023. He also served as SYNNEX’s President and Chief Executive Officer from March 2018 until September 2021 and earlier as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance. Dennis joined SYNNEX in 2002 and was appointed Director in 2012. Dennis serves on the boards of directors of Concentrix Corporation and Terreno Realty Corporation. At Terreno, he is the Chair of the Compensation Committee.

Bonnie K. Smith is Chief Information Officer (CIO) of TD SYNNEX. Bonnie is responsible for all aspects of information technology (IT) delivery, bridging into the innovative product lines the company takes to market. Bonnie previously served Tech Data as Executive Vice President and CIO. Prior to joining Tech Data in 2020, Bonnie served in executive IT positions at Lear Corporation, Eaton Corporation, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Abbott Laboratories as well as McKinsey & Company, Whirlpool, and DuPont. Bonnie is active in women-centered global philanthropic organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

David Vetter is Chief Legal officer of TD SYNNEX. In this role, he is responsible for all legal representation of the company’s worldwide operations. David previously served as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer of Tech Data Corporation. Prior to joining the company in 1993, David was employed by the law firm of Robbins, Gaynor & Bronstein, P.A. David is a member of the Florida Bar Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Economics from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida with High Honors.

Marshall Witt is Chief Financial Officer of TD SYNNEX. Prior to joining SYNNEX in 2013, Marshall was Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller with FedEx Freight. During his fifteen-year tenure with FedEx Corporation, Marshall held progressive financial and operational roles. Prior to FedEx Freight, he held accounting and finance leadership positions including five years with KPMG LLP as an audit manager for banking and transportation clients. Marshall holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Pacific Lutheran University, a Masters in Accounting from Seattle University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
